Slopify Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-02-02
This Privacy Policy explains how Slopify (“Slopify”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Slopify mobile app and related services (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by Egor Sharokha, Uruguay.
1) What we collect
- Account information: your email address and authentication metadata used to sign in (via our authentication services).
- Station and content you create: station names, rotation items, prompts, tags, feedback actions (e.g., skip/like/favorite), and related metadata needed to run the Service.
- Generated content and metadata: information about generated tracks (such as timestamps, identifiers, and your station/rotation settings), including audio, artwork, lyrics, and other assets we display in the app.
- Credits and purchase data: information needed to provide subscriptions, credit top-ups, and billing-related functionality (such as current subscription status, product identifiers, and transaction metadata). Purchases are processed by the App Store / Play Store; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Device and diagnostics: basic technical information (such as app version, device/OS version, and network error details) to troubleshoot issues.
- Support communications: if you contact us, we may receive the contents of your message and any information you choose to share.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into station names, prompts, or tags. The Service is not designed to process special categories of personal data.
2) Music generation and third-party processing
When you request music generation, your inputs (such as prompts, tags, and station/rotation settings) are processed by third-party providers that help us generate audio and related assets. These providers may receive and process your generation inputs and return outputs to us so we can deliver the Service. Slopify handles provider access on your behalf.
- We send generation inputs and technical identifiers needed to fulfill your request.
- We do not send your payment card details to generation providers.
- We may store generated audio and artwork in our storage to make playback reliable and to enable features such as downloads and library access.
Third-party providers are independent from Slopify. Their data practices may apply to their processing. We aim to work with providers that support reasonable security and privacy protections, but we do not control their services.
3) How we use information
- Provide core functionality: create stations, generate and play tracks, and maintain history/favorites.
- Operate subscriptions, credit balances, and enforce feature gating.
- Protect the Service against abuse and troubleshoot errors.
- Send service emails to your account email address (e.g., security, subscription status, and retention/deletion notices).
4) How we share information
- Service providers: we use third-party providers to host and operate parts of the Service (such as cloud infrastructure, databases, storage, monitoring, and email delivery).
- Music generation providers: we share generation inputs with third parties to produce audio and related assets.
- App Store / Play Store: purchases are processed by Apple/Google. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Legal and safety: we may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the Service and users.
5) Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Account and station data is generally kept until you delete it or request account deletion. Some generated media may be hosted by third parties for a limited time. We may store generated audio/artwork in our storage to provide playback and related features. If you do not have an active subscription, some stored media may be deleted after a limited retention period.
Account deletion: you can request account deletion in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). We schedule deletion after a 30-day grace period. During the grace period, you can cancel the request by signing in again and choosing to continue when prompted.
If your subscription ends, we keep subscriber-stored tracks accessible for 2 years (grace period) and then may delete stored audio/artwork from Slopify storage unless you resubscribe or download them. You can download your library as a single archive from the app (maximum 4 GiB). We send service emails at expiry and 1 month before the grace period ends with the deletion timeline.
6) Your choices
- You can delete stations and tracks in the app (where available).
- You can request account deletion in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). Learn more at slopify.world/account-deletion.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store / Play Store account settings.
7) Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction).
8) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date.
